Shoppers' Drug Mart chose the Kootenay Robusters to receive the proceeds from their Tree of Life initiative to support women's health in the region. President Kathy Hanson and Pat Tjader, gratefully accepted a cheque for $1021.00 on behalf of the team. The Kootenay Robusters are now in the midst of their major fundraising campaign for the year - selling their popular calendar filled with images by local photographers of our lovely area. The calendars are available in all the communities where our members live: Grand Forks, Christina Lake, Rossland, Castlegar and Trail. |  |
