The Kootenay Robuster Dragonboat Team members were popular participants at both the Trail Relay for Life on May 31st and the Castlegar Relay on June 21st.  Spectators always enjoy watching the team paddle their dragon around the relay course to the sound of a hand drum.  This year, because the Robusters didn't take part in the Grand Forks Relay, many team members drove over to help with the Trail and Castlegar events.  Part of the Robuster mission is to raise awareness of breast cancer and to be living proof that many survivors are able to lead healthy and active lives after treatment.
