The Kootenay Robusters have had a busy spring, participating in Relays for Life in three communities.  Greater Trail got things started with their event on May 25th.  Team members from all our home towns, Christina Lake, Grand Forks, Castlegar, Trail and Rossland marched our trademark dragon around the relay course in Gyro Park as the assembled supporters applauded.  The following week, it was off to Grand Forks where we repeated the process for their relay, on June 1.  Finally, on June 8, in lovely Pass Creek Park the Castlegar Robusters welcomed the rest of their team mates for a final round of "dragon boat" paddling as we led off the survivor lap at the beginning of their relay.  The Robusters are honoured to be invited to each Relay for Life as featured participants and plan to continue their support for these important community events.
