The summer season brings community celebrations that offer the opportunity to get the Robuster message in front of the public in a fun way.  Community parades during Silver City Days and the Castlegar Sunfest saw the Robusters climbing into their team dragon costume and paddling off through the streets to the sound of a drum.  Crowds along the parade route were appreciative of the team's enthusiasm and paddling skills while the children enjoyed receiving sweet treats from team members with loaded aprons.  This year the heavy dragon head was mounted on a dune buggy, belonging to one of our members, which made the whole experience a lot more pleasant.
