On November 3, the Kootenay Robusters Dragon Boat Team joined the staff of the Trail Shoppers' Drug Mart for their "Pretty Little Pink Gala." The event was in support of the Look Good Feel Better program, dedicated to empowering women to manage the effects that cancer and its treatment have on their appearance and morale.
Participants were treated to cupcakes and coffee as well as a chance to win a basket of goodies prepared by the Robusters.
