Castlegar Garden of Hope

On Oct 23 - 1059 daffodil bulbs were sold for $1 each at the Heritage Credit Union in Castlegar. Proceeds went to the Canadian Cancer Society and many of the bulbs are destined to be planted in the "Garden of Hope."  The "Garden of Hope" is adjacent to the Chamber of Commerce building, 1995 6th Avenue,Castlegar.  The Communities in Bloom committee  plans to plant 1500 bulbs at this site and will plant 1500 more in other locations around Castlegar! Members of the Kootenay Robusters assisted in selling the bulbs and will be helping to plant them.  Look for some photos of the garden in bloom next spring.
